There is a small kick-off charge (so you feel less guilty about what you munch while you're picking - we know!) and a 'per kilo' price.
This is normal practice on
pick-your-own farms - but wait - it gets better.
For
every kilogram of fruit picked $1 is refunded from the the entry fees. Once
they see the fruit most people pick at least that amount so very few of
our customers end up paying the entry fee.
It's
really just to keep timewasters and freeloaders away but it means that
if you want to come mainly for the experience we are also happy with
that.

To avoid confusion which occasionally arises, please note that the idea is that you pick only what you want to
pay for and take home. We never have people pick for us.

Prices for 2022 not set yet but expect them to be better than those fixed by the local cartel - oops - - I'm not supposed to know about that. Prices for December 2020/January 21 were:
Sweet Cherries - $8/kg
Sour cherries - $8/kg
NB sour cherries are not sweet cherries which didn't ripen properly.
They are different varieties altogether - specifically suited to baking, jam-making and alcoholic concoctions.

Midweek specials may occur if there is surplus fruit after a weekend but normally prices are as above.
